Project based on the geometric drawings made by the Swiss artist and healer Emma Kunz, through pendulum movements.

These were carried out during the second stage of her life and in connection with her higher mind.

The portraits that integrate this project are portraits of the artist’s psyche, as well as portraits of some of the sketches she made during her practice. Through pieces made with fabrics, wood, threads and cooper, waves and vibrations that are present in the space are represented to make them perceptible in matter.

The portraits of Kunz’s psyche are made from both, an astrological as well as a numerological perspective. Using these practices as instruments of past research, I propose to reinterpret her veiled practice through geometric patterns, thus building a link through time in order to express something that continues alive.

Emma Kunz – Retratos de la psique

Proyecto basado en los dibujos geométricos basados en los movimientos pendulares, realizados por la sanadora y artista suiza Emma Kunz. Éstos fueron llevados a cabo a partir de la segunda etapa de su vida y en conexión con su mente superior.

Los retratos que comprenden este proyecto son tanto retratos de la psique de la artista, como retratos de algunos de los bocetos que realizó. A través de piezas elaboradas con telas, maderas, hilos y cobre, se representan aquí ondas y vibraciones presentes en el espacio para volverlas perceptibles en la materia.

Los retratos de la psique de Kunz son realizados desde una perspectiva astrológica, así como desde una perspectiva numerológica. Utilizando estas prácticas como instrumentos de búsqueda del pasado es que propongo reinterpretar su práctica velada a través de patrones geométricos, construyendo así un enlace a través del tiempo mediante la expresión de algo que continúa vivo.
